Tom Cool

I have this poster, framed and hanging on my wall.  It is called The Butterfly Alphabet. I can't remember the name of the photographer right now--but I was thinking about it while looking at Tom Scott's work.
In my poster are the 26 letters of the alphabet--all photographed from butterfly wings.  This guy had captured everyone (photo--not butterfly) by carefully paying attention.  It took him years to make this and its absolutely amazing because he didn't touch a single subject.  Just sat quietly and waited.
I think its all about seeing things in a different way when it comes to photography.  Something as simple as the beach or a butterfly can become so much more beautiful than one could imagine if you look at it with the right eye.
